My Aunt Frances is in an assisted living facility in Lexington, S.C.. She is about 95 years old and in need of a visit. Some long term care facilities are more comprehensive than others - offering activities for the elderly residents, extensive grounds, meal plans...her facility is what I consider to be middle of the road with less frills, but quality care nonetheless.
Aunt Frances bought a Genworth Long Term Care Policy in the early 80's when it was actually "AMEX Life". Genworth is a GE Company with a high ratings and reputable service and integrity. Her policy is now paying off as it pays for her stay in this facility.
